Barlborough Hall School, preparatory school to Mount St Mary's College, is seen as one of the premier independent Catholic schools in the area. Pupils are welcome from all denominations.
Set in 300 acres of beautiful surroundings, Barlborough has extensive facilities including a Technology Centre, Science Laboratory, Art Studio, indoor pool and IT suite. Thanks to its dedicated and caring staff, Barlborough produces happy, polite and well-motivated children. The emphasis is on developing the whole child, and pupils participate in a wide range of activities and trips. We produce two plays every year and are known for our sporting and musical success. Our early years' provision was judged "Outstanding" by Ofsted in 2007.
A regular mini-bus service brings pupils from all areas of Sheffield, Chesterfield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Matlock and Worksop. We also offer an "out of school club", run by qualified staff until 6pm, offering extra flexibility to working parents.
